
Vera Vakusich (Pre-Ballet through Intermediate Ballet and Contemporary)
Began dancing at the age of 3 and continued her training under the direction of Heather Lescaille. She received her early training at Florida Dance Conservatory before continuing at the Florida School for Dance Education. A graduate of the esteemed Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts, she performed a wide range of works including George Balanchine’s Serenade, Le Corsaire (Odalisque Variation #3), La Bayadère (First Shade Variation), and contemporary pieces such as Angela Walks by Penny Saunders, Passage by Telmo Moreira, Solitude II by Troy Powell, and Sing with a Swing by Ricardo Pena. Eva furthered her training at prestigious summer intensives with The Rock School (scholarship recipient), Sarasota Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, and Atlanta Ballet. Taught for Pofahl Studio during 2024-2025 season.
